Slow moving traffic was reported across Dubai and Abu Dhabi this morning, including on the E311, Dubai-Al Ain Road Northbound, D89 and Emirates Road.
Heavy congestion was also reported in Dubai on 112 Street towards 127 Street, on Al Amardhi Road towards D89 Al Khawaneej Road and on Al Khail Road towards E311, Emirates Road, and 6 Street Exit 14.
There were further tailbacks on D89 towards Nadd Al Hamra Road airport tunnel, and Beirut Street.
It was busy on the Mafraq-Ghweifat International Highway towards Baghdad Street Exit 66, S115 Street 109 and Al Nahda Road Exit 65, as well as on S113 towards Tuliatela Street and E11 Street 109.
In Abu Dhabi, there was slow traffic on Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Streettowards E10, on Sheikh Zayed Bridge towards the Eastern Ring Road, Sheikh Zayed Street and on Sheikh Zayed Tunnel towards Sheikh Zayed Street.
Heavy congestion was reported on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Highway towards the E11/346 and on the Eastern Ring Road towards 8 Street Al Salam Street on both sides of the road.
Further tailbacks could be found on 31 Street, 29 Street and 30 Street.
Accidents causing congestion were reported on:
- E611 after Exit 66 towards Abu Dhabi
- E611 before Exit 61 towards Abu Dhabi
- Baghdad Street towards 6 street
- D73 towards 22 A Street
