The National Centre of Meteorolgy said the coldest temperature recorded overnight was 5.5°C at Jebel Jais.
It also warned that some areas in the east could expect more rain this week following last week's storms and floods.
A low-pressure system is circulating over the country and the NCM also cautioned of overcast skies, rough seas and rain.
Maxiumum temperatures could reach 29°C on Saturday, while winds may hit 40kph.
The past few weeks have seen a series of seasonal storms and floods.
All schools closed on Wednesday because of storms systems passing over the country with the Northern Emirates worst hit.
