Focal Point: The face in a crowd

It is something most photographers experience but might not be able to explain, the moment looking through a lense at a crowd of people and one face stands out. They all might be looking back at you, but there is that one face, their eyes, the way they are framed in the crowd, that demands your focus; the one then represents the many. Staff photographer Sammy Dallal likely had this very moment when photographing labourers on a bus in Abu Dhabi. Some of his wider frames had many interesting faces, but this frame jumps out from the rest.
