Andre Luiz lines up a shock for Ligue 1 leaders

Andre Luiz, the Nancy defender, believes his side can cause a sensation and finish the year with victories over the top two teams in Ligue 1.

After making an abysmal start to the season, with eight defeats in their opening 13 matches, Nancy have recovered by going unbeaten in their last four games.

The tests for a revitalised Nancy are to come, however, as they take on league-leaders Lille tomorrow before hosting second-placed Paris St-Germain on Wednesday.

"All games are difficult, but I still feel we can win these two games," Luiz said. "I would not be surprised because this championship is very open, with no great difference between the teams."

The fans at Lens plan to boycott tomorrow's game against Caen in protest at a perceived lack of effort from players.
