JA Resorts and Hotels is giving away 1,000 Dubai staycations to healthcare workers across the UAE.

As a way to say thank you to some of the doctors, nurses, administrative staff, ambulance drivers, cleaners and other medical workers battling Covid-19 in the UAE, the Dubai-based hotel group is offering complimentary stays at six of its properties.

Healthcare workers can opt to check in to any of the three resorts that make up JA The Resort Dubai in Jebel Ali, the largest resort in the emirate. Also open for stays are the JA Ocean View Hotel and JA Oasis Beach Tower on the Walk, Jumeirah Beach Residence or the JA Hatta Fort Hotel in the Hajar Mountains.

"These 1,000 room nights are our way of rewarding the hard work, dedication and bravery of all UAE medical workers who risk their own health and safety on a daily basis to help others in the community," says Anthony Ross, chief executive, JA Hotels and Resorts.

Staycations include complimentary breakfast and are valid to book until the end of 2020.

The thank you offer is open to all medical workers in the UAE. Healthcare professionals need to send an email with a copy of their UAE medical ID and contact details to thankyou@jaresorts.com before April 30.

JA Resorts & Hotels will then allocate accommodation vouchers to 1,000 randomly selected entrants.

"As we face these unprecedented times and our own industry suffers deeply, we recognise that these individuals are the backbone of our society and the bravest heroes among us.’

Once entries close, JA Resorts & Hotels will allocate accommodation vouchers to 1,000 randomly selected entrants.

The hotel group has also put together a video dedicated to "all the true heroes" that shows JA staff saying thank you to healthcare workers in several languages.
