Starbucks has just added a date macchiato to its popular beverage menu across the UAE.

The date drink combines freshly steamed milk with vanilla flavored syrup marked with espresso, and topped with date drizzle. It joins the new Maple macchiato and favoured caramel macchiato on the menu.

The maple macchiato has strong sweet vanilla notes with a maple syrup drizzle, finished with foam and milk, while the caramel macchiato, is created with fresh steamed milk, vanilla flavour, and a dose of espresso with velvety texture and rich caramel finish

“Offering a choice of three macchiatos, stems from our commitment to binging our customers new and exciting beverages,” says Rana Shaheen, the Starbucks regional communications and CSR manager for the MENA region. “The different taste profiles allows our customers the choice to discover their new passion. We are also offering the same beverages in an iced version, so they can enjoy the beverage at different times of the day.”

Starbucks is also introducing its “3 Region Blend” coffee, which combines the finest beans from each of the planet’s three coffee-growing regions – Latin America, Africa/Arabia and Asia/Pacific.
